Please note: The recommended settings below are what we use and work well with our equipment. As every heat press, paper, sublimation and infusible ink combination can vary, you may need to make small adjustments to achieve the best results.
Quick Reference
Temp: 180°C
Time: 60-70 seconds
Application Instructions
Step 1: Remove any lint or debris from the area being decorated using a lint roller.
Step 2: Place butcher’s paper inside the cushion cover to prevent ink from transferring onto the back.
Step 3: If decorating the pocket, place a small pressing pillow or heat-resistant pad inside the pocket. This raises the printing area above the thick seams and provides even pressure.
Step 4: Place a fresh sheet of butcher’s paper inside the pocket to prevent ink from transferring through to the cushion cover.
Step 5: Preheat the area being decorated for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. Keep the zipper outside the heat press.
Step 6: Position your mirrored sublimation print or Infusible Ink transfer sheet face-down on the fabric.
Step 7: Secure it with heat-resistant tape to prevent movement during pressing.
Step 8: Cover with butcher’s paper and press at 180°C for 60-70 seconds.
Step 9: Carefully remove the transfer immediately after pressing, then allow the cushion cover to cool flat.
